programs Committee
The programs committee plans the topics and speakers for our networking/educational series; 8 member meetings and 3 summertime Dine Arounds. The committee stays current on trends and issues that face the commercial r/e industry so that topics and speakers are current and relevant. The Programs committee works with Arrangements to relay pertinent information regarding facility, a/v specifics, etc. The committee meets monthly via conference call or meeting. |
Membership Committee
The membership committee must encourage retention of existing members and the admission of eligible new members to CREW Baltimore to keep the organization vital, and to help meet it’s goals. The committee identifies prospective members, recruits new members, processes prospective members, and encourages renewal. The committee meets monthly via conference call or meeting. |
Sponsorship Committee The sponsorship committee is responsible for creating and maintaining a database of prospective financial contributors to CREW Baltimore. There is an annual plan to follow which includes preparation and submission of requests for sponsorship, fundraising phone calls and meetings, ongoing fact sheet of benefits of membership and sponsorship of the organization, and aid in creation and updates to a sponsor board which is placed at each CREW Baltimore event. |
community Action Committee
Community Action Chair – The committee selects partner organizations in and around Baltimore in which our members can donate time, money or assistance to the advancement of women in their professions or their daily lives. The committee is responsible for coordinating the following events:
CREW Careers – A one-day event in which our members share their talents and resources to educate young women about the opportunities available to them in the many areas of the commercial real estate industry.
Touch A Woman’s Life – An event held every July where donations are made to a selected charity. |
Public Relations Committee The public relations committee works directly with our outsourced pr firm to ensure that all meeting notices (material to come from program’s chair) and press releases are submitted in a timely manner. The PR committee also networks with members to discover human interest stories and relevant promotions, birth announcements, achievements and awards are submitted to pr firm for publication in area newspapers and magazines. |
Newsletter Committee
The newsletter committee solicits and coordinates materials for 4-quarterly newsletters published by CREW Network. The committee stays current on trends and issues that face the commercial r/e market in Baltimore, and reports on upcoming events within the Chapter. The committee reaches out to the membership to get articles, press releases, and any newsworthy materials that would be pertinent to the particular issue. Then this material is submitted to our administrator at CREW Network for production. The newsletter chair reviews and edits all material before final draft is submitted. This committee meets quarterly, or when necessary. |
