from the presidents desk

Lou Ann Dent
Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA, Inc.

Lou Ann DentWelcome and thank you for your interest in CREW Baltimore.  We are a membership organization that welcomes professionals from all segments of the commercial real estate industry; providing networking forums, educational opportunities and access to professional partnerships and business referrals.  More importantly, we support the individual with opportunities for community service, mentoring, leadership development, committee service and a proprietary career search site.

Our program content is current and relevant to commercial real estate professionals and designed to keep our members and guests in touch with the industry and exposed to new ideas and emerging trends.  We mix that with a strong emphasis on networking to create a very dynamic organization.

I personally invite you to visit with us for a luncheon, a “conversation over coffee”, or a social networking event.  The best way to get to get to know CREW Baltimore is to meet our members.  And don’t forget to ask why they joined.  The responses will vary depending on what the individual was seeking but likely all will share a common link; the fact that they felt welcomed.

I look forward to meeting you in 2010.

Additionally, the program provides each scholarship recipient with an internship in brokerage to encourage women to consider this career choice, and the opportunity to participate in CREW Network’s eMentoring program designed to support their career success. As part of CREW Network’s 20th anniversary – which is being celebrated throughout 2009 – the association will be raising funds to establish and grow the endowment.
